Being a human means that struggle is unavoidable. I am here to help you through whatever life brings your way. As your therapist I will make you feel like you’re not alone and that you can see your way through whatever is going on. Using my experience with evidenced based CBT work combined with my person-centered approach, we will build on your strengths and build your skills in order to get you moving forward. We will work together to get to the root of what is causing you stress and build you up as a person to develop resilience.
My past experience includes working with adolescents struggling with various concerns, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, behavioral issues, eating disorder behaviors, and identity issues. I believe my work can be translated to any population as these issues exist across the lifespan.
As a compassionate individual, I am ready to work with you through whatever you bring into the office because I believe everyone deserves a chance to live a life of happiness and fulfillment.
I currently work with adults and adolescents who are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life transitions, relationship issues, and trauma. I will stand alongside you as you work through what you need to and help you develop coping skills and healthier ways of thinking and being. Our goal will be working together to help you achieve your life goals.
I am a board-certified counselor licensed in the state of Illinois. I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Western Illinois University in 2016 and a M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University in 2020.
