Lori is a compassionate therapist who is dedicated to helping others in their path of healing and growth. Lori provides a safe space, without judgment, that allows the client to learn from their own emotions or challenges.

From an early age, Lori knew that helping others was her calling in life, and that is why she decided to become a counselor. Lori graduated magna cum laude from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Art in Psychology and a Master of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bradley University.

Lori’s previous work experience in the mental health field includes working with children, adolescents, and adults. Lori has experience working with clients with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, school issues, self-esteem issues, suicidal ideation, and depression.

Lori also spent time working with couples and family therapy and has developed a niche for clients in sex therapy sessions, to help with sexual difficulties, including fetishes/kink and the LGBTQ+ community.

Lori also has completed certification in grief counseling. Lori is here to help you through your grieving process. Lori is aware that people grieve many things, such as the loss of a loved one or pet, job, or relationship.

In her practice, she draws from various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Client-centered Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

Lori brings a compassionate approach to making a positive impact on the lives of others and wants to embark on the journey together to take back control of your life by developing coping skills, and strategies to achieve your personal goals.
