Ella Wojnarowska, MS, LCPC, NCC, CCTP

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with a true passion for guiding individuals on their journey to healing and personal growth.
I earned a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Northern Illinois University in 2014 and have several years of experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults. I am skilled at addressing anxiety disorders, mood disorders, grief, self-esteem, and life transitions. I specialize in treating trauma related symptoms. I believe in tailoring therapy to meet the unique needs of my clients. I integrate elements of various theoretical approaches and treatment modalities, including but not limited to, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, along with Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. This allows me to create a holistic and personalized approach.
Also, as a bilingual speaker (Polish- English), I am dedicated to working with culturally diverse populations, fostering inclusivity, and respecting individual differences. I believe that understanding and embracing cultural backgrounds are essential aspects of effective therapy.
I love what I do and I do it because I care. There is nothing more rewarding for me than a smile that says a million words, a spark in the eye followed by “I can do it!” or a sigh of relief with a strong sense of hope and conviction that everything will be okay no matter what happens next. For me, to be a part of that experience is a privilege and I learn so much from who I work with. I am lucky to follow my calling and make my work effective thanks to my education, skills, and professional experience.
I am committed to provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore, heal, and thrive. I’m excited about the opportunity to walk with you on this journey of self-discovery. I will assist you in finding meaning and strength in and from your experiences.
